National Archives Building Jakarta was built in 1760 for a wealthy Dutch merchant's family.
This recently renovated stately villa is one of the last remaining examples of the grand old merchant estates.
Original wood carvings, tiles and home furnishing from the period of the Dutch East Indies Company (VOC) are proudly displayed in every room of his beautiful mansion.
